About Savoring Your Sixties
Sixty used to seem old.
When you were growing up, 60 may have been the age when people seemed very old, past their prime, and soon to be ready for the nursing home.
Sixty is way better now than it used to be.
This is true in so many ways. However the negative messages in our heads and our culture haven’t changed to match the new reality.
As a result, many women are bothered about turning 60 and don’t see a future they look forward to.
Your sixties can bring challenges.
As you grow older, you are more likely to face changes in your body, illness and deaths of loved ones, job changes, health problems, and who knows what else. Eek!
Even if those things aren’t happening to you, you might be apprehensive and afraid that they will!
These challenges and fears drain your energy.
But you’re up to the challenges.
By this age you can tap your strength, wisdom, and resourcefulness to face, deal with, and make peace with the challenges and fears.
And good as making peace with your fears may be, you also have the capacity for so much more.

That’s what this site is about . . .
Helping you face, deal with, and make peace with your fears and live with vitality, joy, and meaning. So you can truly savor your sixties.
