I am by nature, nurture, or both more of a half-empty cup person. I work at & use lots of tools to see the brighter side of life. And my life is very good and quite easy! I think this goes back to attitude is everything. As a nurse, I saw all kinds of people in varying stages of illness. Some people can find humor in everything; others find obstacles in the way of everything. It reminds me of a quote from Winston Churchill: A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty. What an amazing human being!
