Hi, Ruth! Could you tell us some of the keys that helped you shift to being more positive? This is so important and, as you know, can be hard to do.

It didn't come easy! I spent so many years not being positive, but I love the new me. It was a very long birth process; I likened it to crawling through a dark tunnel and finally emerging into the sunlight. It's harder to be positive when bad things happen; but it is still possible.

Great gratitude list, Ruth! I'm guessing your ability to see the good in your life & be grateful for it, is part of what creates your fabulous, positive attitude.

First and foremost, I am thankful to be 60, and to have had all the experiences, good and bad, that have made me who I am today. I am thankful for my partner, the 4-legged friends that enrich our lives, my kids and grandkids, that I have a job and a home. I am thankful to live in a place where the weather is wonderful at this time of year. And the list goes on and on; I could write a book!
