Hi, Erika! Glad the suggestion was helpful. Great idea to create a book & jacket. It will be so exciting when YOUR book is inside that cover.

I love the suggestion for making your desire concrete, Bonnie! I've been working on a memoir, "Becoming Hungarian," for a couple of years now, and in my Christmas letters to friends, I articulated my goal of having a completed manuscript in 2010. I have designed a dust jacket with the book's title, a childhood and adult photo of me, and my name as author, and have put it on an actual book, to make it seem as real as possible to me. I plan to keep it near the computer where I write, to give me inspiration to keep going. Thanks so much for the terrific suggestion!
